The light-dependent reactions run photosystem II, the chloroplast electron transport chain, and photosystem I in sequence, converting light energy into the stored chemical energy of ATP and NADPH.
Watch for
Photosystem I re-energizes an electron that photosystem II already used once — the two photosystems work in series, not as two independent light-capturing events.
